Some comments on the 2004 HS Tournament!

Couldn't get to the meet until Saturday.  Looked for charts to see how everyone did on Friday.  Saw some GREAT matches.  Too many to single one out.

Congratulations to Noble, Camden-Hills and Foxcroft.  To Mark Stevens, it was a great run.  To Camden-Hills, slow down, you take the fun out of team scoring.  To Noble, you had to work for this one.

Question?: Brad Chase (C-215) was leading by a point vs Josh Pelletier in the finals.  Just before time ran out, Pelletier was awarded 1 point for stalling.  After consulting with table, Pelletier was awarded a 1 point decision.  What's up with that?  If the score was wrong while they were wrestling that final minute, that's a shame.  I believe Chase wouldn't have stalled if he knew it was tied or if he was behind at that point.  Wrestlers wrestle according to a lot of things and one of them is the score.

You can't tell me that Mike Dumas isn't the 2nd best 140 in Maine.  It's a shame that he isn't going to New Englands.    NE Qualifier

My normal complaint about food variety.

A great day.  Full of emotion.

GOOD LUCK to all who will represent us at the New Englands.
